MtMn and I are stretched out in our Aspen lodging after a long travel weekend, from the mountains of Virginia to the Rockies. Music on a mountain – it’s what classical musicians do. It’s inspiring. More than a little untouchable.
There’s so much I want to tell you, but after the bloody weekend in El Paso and Dayton, it feels painful and dry to breathe the impossibly clear air up here, and it feels crazy to be looking at a week of teaching and making sounds. I always feel like that can change the world, but right now I can’t believe it. Maybe after I catch my breath.
Hang in there, friends.
