Rehearsals have begun for Le nozze di Figaro here at Wolf Trap. Already there’s been some fine singing. I love the first day of music rehearsal, hearing everyone as they listen to each other, adapt, lead, follow, and generally begin to figure it out. I’m lucky to be partnered with an exciting director and a first-class music staff. And Mozart, and da Ponte, so really – who could ask for anything more?
